BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Crystal Kung Minkoff announced on Instagram that she won't be returning to 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' for its upcoming 14th season.

In her video post on Monday, April 15, the reality star expressed mixed emotions about the decision.

"I just wanted to share the news that I will not be coming back to film season 14 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It's very bittersweet," Kung Minkoff, 41, said. "Never did I think I would have been asked to do the show in a million years, let alone film it for three seasons. Every single year I was asked back, it was a blessing. It was an honor."

Reflecting on her role as the first Asian American on the show, Kung Minkoff acknowledged the weight it carried.

Crystal Kung Minkoff is currently married to renowned filmmaker Rob Minkoff.

"I'm a recovering bulimic," she shared with the group. "And I say recovering because I don't know what it's like to be any other thing."

Kung Minkoff revealed that her battle with disordered eating began at the age of 11 but emphasized that it's now "under control" and not something she deals with daily.

Reflecting on the origins of her struggle, Kung Minkoff mentioned watching a video about eating disorders in school, which, despite its negative message, provided her with tools that contributed to her bulimia.

She admitted that her bulimia was most severe towards the end of high school and during her college years, a period during which she managed to conceal it from her parents.
