Conservatives on Twitter are still bitter about Donald Trump losing the presidential election. His MAGA supporters almost never miss an opportunity to either drag President Joe Biden or any of his staff members. Be it their policies, their background, their ideas or their appearance, no one from Biden's team is exempt from mockery and hostility. And this time around, they have targeted White House press secretary Jen Psaki - not only making her the butt of jokes but also making ageist and sexist remarks at her appearance, and mocking her penchant of saying she'd 'circle back' over reporters' questions. Soon, #Circleback started trending on Twitter.

Psaki took the lectern on Monday to do one of her daily press conferences for the new president. She clarified about "circling back" to reporters before she took any questions from the press. "And last thing I just want to do before we get to your questions — I often note I’m going to “circle back.” I hate to disappoint conservative Twitter, but I am going to circle back on a number of things, as we often do directly."

This prompted conservative Twitter to attack her, making it seem like she was avoiding issues. "We Want@KayleighMcEnany, We Want @KayleighMcEnany for @PressSec She never has to #CircleBack She even tells reporters what questions they should be asking, AFTER she answers ALL their questions," one Trump supporter tweeted. "Can simple people also #CircleBack or is it for the privileged few," another taunted. "@PressSec if you are going to #CircleBack on someone's question.. You need to answer the question on from of all the media and on from of the person who asked it .. Then allow a follow up question. Stop sidestepping. And quit saying uhhhh," another added. Many even accused them of probing reporters before the conference. "Wow. How embarrassing for @PressSec and the White House Comm Team. Do you think Jen will need to #CircleBack when she gets asked about it at the next press briefing? LOL." But more hard-hitting were the comments made about her appearance, in particular, her makeup, with many making ageist, sexist comments against her. "At her age lots of makeup hides lack of sleep dark circles and stress," one tweeted. "Jen Psaki needs to "circle back" to the makeup room. Who did her makeup today???" another added.

Many mocked her for both her physical appearance and her body language during the conference. "You would think the Biden administration would have someone do her makeup. She looks like a clown! She needs to circle back around and have someone redo her face!" Hate came in all shapes and sizes as users on social media did not even try to mince their words. "I’m my gosh. I’m embarrassed for her. The fact she even felt the need to say that is humiliating. Poor girl. Put some more makeup on and maybe people won’t notice you’re highly incompetent for this job," one added.

Soon, comparisons started doing the rounds with many users accusing her of wanting to replace Kayleigh McEnany, former White House press secretary working under Trump. "Jen Psaki wearing more makeup today. Trying to look as good as Kayleigh McEnany," one tweeted. "Is it me or did Psaki put some makeup on for today’s press hearing?? Looks like she’s slowly getting into the Kayleigh role," another added. "Is that blue eye shadow? Girl. I just. I can’t even. So disappointing. Even Biden wants Kayleigh back," a user said.
