ATLANTA, GEORGIA: The upcoming Season 16 of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' is undergoing some major changes, as reports indicate that several current cast members will not be returning.
One notable absence is Sheree Whitfield, whose exclusion from the Season 16 cast list caused shock and disappointment among fans. Whitfield's absence from the upcoming season has left many wondering about the direction of the show and what changes may be in store for the beloved reality TV series.
Despite fans blaming Bravo and Andy Cohen for her departure, it was revealed that Cohen himself was just as saddened by her exit and expressed a desire to see her back on the show in the future.
“I always have hope that we will get a little Shereé coming back. I think that Shereé is one of the cornerstones of that show. She’s one of my personal favorites," Cohen shared.
It seems that Shereé's future on 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' remains uncertain as the show undergoes renovations for its upcoming season.
Sheree Whitfield has left Bravo’s ‘RHOA’ several times
Sheree Whitfield played a crucial role as one of the original cast members of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta', which first aired on Bravo in October 2008. Throughout her time on the show, she provided viewers with unforgettable moments, one of the most iconic being her memorable comeback, "Who gon' check me, boo?"
Throughout the course of the series, the mother of three made several appearances, coming and going multiple times. Whitfield was a main cast member in Seasons 1 through 4, a recurring guest in Season 8, and returned as a full-time Housewife in Seasons 9 and 10.
However, after Season 10, the reality TV star decided to part ways with the show, taking to Instagram in July 2018 to announce her departure. In her post, she expressed her dissatisfaction with the salary offered in her contract, stating that she refused to accept what she perceived as a lowball offer. She emphasized the importance of knowing one's worth and standing up for fair compensation.
Sheree initially made a comeback as a guest in Season 13 of the show, but later decided to rejoin as a permanent Housewife for both Seasons 14 and 15.
Additionally, she made an appearance on the second season of the popular show 'The Traitors' on Peacock, where she starred alongside former 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' cast member Phaedra Parks.
