Many felt that the finale should have been aired sooner, and they were unhappy with how the semi-finals had been stretched out.

The anticipation built up from the extended semi-finals left fans feeling frustrated and impatient. Some fans expressed their displeasure on social media, arguing that the show's producers were unnecessarily dragging out the competition.

They believed that the excitement and momentum of the show were being compromised by the long wait. These fans felt that the finale, which was supposed to be the highlight of the season, lost some of its impact due to the prolonged wait. On the other hand, some fans were unhappy for a different reason: they felt that the season had ended too soon. 

"Do we really need to stretch this for next week? Tonight should’ve been the finale," said a user. "Oh! Next week is the season finale, I didn't know that. I thought this was the season finale," said another. 

"I can't believe we're at the season finale. This season has flown by fast," said a user. "This season has flown by so fast. I can't believe next week is the season finale," said another. "I'm just now realizing the season finale is in two weeks, this season has flown by," added one. 

Who got eliminated in semi-finals?

In the semi-finals of 'The Masked Singer', Clock was eliminated and revealed to be the legendary singer Thelma Houston. Houston is best known for her classic hit 'Don't Leave Me This Way'. During the semi-finals, the three remaining contestants performed 'A Moment Like This' by Kelly Clarkson in a battle royale.

Despite a strong performance, Clock was voted out, securing third place for the season. With Clock's elimination, the finalists Gumball and Goldfish moved on to compete in the show's grand finale.
