LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Netflix is set to premiere the latest season of 'Love on the Spectrum US' on January 19 at 12.00 am PT/3.00 am ET. 

The unique dating show, originally launched in 2019 with Australian singles navigating love and relationships, expanded to the US in May 2022.

'Love on the Spectrum US' Season 2, exclusively available on Netflix, features familiar faces like James, Abbey, and Dani, along with newcomers like Connor, Tanner, and Journey. The seven episodes will be released on the premiere date.

The Season 2 teaser showcases familiar faces like James, Abbey, and Dani embarking on exciting dates in search of their perfect match.

David and Abbey are seen enjoying quality time, even going whale watching. Newcomers, like Connor who equates love to a dagger with both happiness and pain, Tanner questioning the cameras about his smile, and Journey excitedly preparing for her picnic date in pink attire, bring fresh energy to the show. The upcoming season promises to be interesting and aims to raise awareness of important issues.



 

Who will be a part of 'Love on the Spectrum US' Season 2?

'Love on the Spectrum US' Season 2 welcomes back fan favorites from Season 1, including Dani, Abbey, James, and Steve.

Joining the dating series with excitement are newcomers Journey, Connor, and Tanner.

Dani

Dani is a Los Angeles resident raised by her uncle and aunt. An animation enthusiast, she teaches animation to children with autism and founded her animation company at 11.

In Season 1, Dani didn't find love. Her current relationship status is unclear. On her 29th birthday, January 9, 2024, Dani was a keynote speaker at the Everyday Lives Conference in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

During her presentation, she shared her life, struggles, and how she helps people with autism find jobs.

Dani was also a featured speaker at the CARD 31st Statewide Conference in Orlando, Florida. In the teaser, she cuddles with her dog and excitedly mentions going on a date, hinting at a potential match in Season 2.

Abbey

Abbey Romeo Luttes and David Issacman, who connected on 'Love on the Spectrum' Season 1, have remained together ever since. 

The couple frequently shares endearing TikTok videos, showcasing their bond. Their initial date at a zoo marked the beginning of their journey, with David's inquiry about future meetings and Abbey's playful "maybe." Despite the uncertainty, they continued to strengthen their connection. Abbey and David's love story is beautifully captured in the poster for 'Love on the Spectrum' Season 2, where they share a passionate kiss.

Abbey's Instagram reflects their shared adventures, from elegant dates to zoo walks and festive celebrations. Recently, Abbey ventured into music, recording a song and creating a music video, adding a creative dimension to their relationship.

James

In Season 1, James didn't find a perfect match but remains friends with his chosen date. Family-oriented and determined, James aims to share the best moments of life with a special someone, as expressed in the Season 2 teaser.

Steve

Steve, diagnosed with autism recently, embraces his positive behavior with the help of a life coach. Overcoming challenges fitting into societal norms, Steve, based in Chicago, explores the city with friends, enjoying dates near iconic landmarks. 

As the eldest participant in 'Love on the Spectrum,' Steve originally hails from LA. In Season 1, he disclosed his family background – his father founded Guest Informer magazine.

Even though his father, Harold Spitz, became a publisher in 1962 and held the position for 58 years, Steve didn't quite find a connection in Season 1. Later, he appeared on 'Meet the Bizz,' a talk show with David Zimmerman. He is determined to find love in the brand-new season, showcasing his commitment to the search for a meaningful relationship.

Meet the newbies of 'Love on the Spectrum' Season 2

Connor

Connor, based in Atlanta, breaks the mold with his unique personality. A lover of cooking and spending time with friends and family, he stands out for his intelligence, sensibility, and loyalty. 

In an intriguing metaphor, he compares love to a dagger – a beautiful yet potentially painful experience.

The teaser suggests he's nervous about meeting his dates, showcasing genuine moments, like complimenting a date on her handshake with a charming remark: "You have got a nice grip."

Journey

In the trailer of 'Love on the Spectrum' Season 2, this vibrant and charming pastry student from Chicago captured everyone's heart.

With a knack for creating delightful treats like biscotti, cookies, and ciabatta rolls, her on-screen presence radiates joy.

Often dressed in pink, she exudes positivity and eagerly anticipates her picnic date. When questioned about her desire for love, she sweetly replied, "I have so much love to give."

Tanner

In the trailer of 'Love on the Spectrum' Season 2, this newcomer is portrayed as a cheerful young boy.

While details about his love life remain undisclosed, he is depicted awaiting a date in an outdoor café with flowers in hand, hinting at his gentlemanly demeanor.

His love for spending time with friends and family is evident, and he actively advocates for autism awareness. Notably, he addressed autism awareness at Harbison West School in 2019.
