FORT COLLINS, COLORADO: In a tragic incident, five teens are reported to have died after their car drove into a retention pond in Florida. Four of the teens used to work together at a steakhouse and were returning home after doing their shifts. As per reports, the incident took place between 10.30 pm on Sunday, June 25. Fort Myers police quickly arrived at the scene off Interstate-75 early Monday morning, June 26, after receiving the calls from teenagers’ parents that their children didn’t return home and later found the black Kia submerged in the pond.
The teen victims were identified as Amanda Ferguson, Eric Cox, Breanna Coleman, Jesus Salinas, (Coleman’s boyfriend), and Jackson Eyre, as per NBC 2 report. According to Alan Hansen, a market partner for nine Texas Roadhouses in Florida, for whom the four teens worked told Fort Myers News-Press, “All four had worked Sunday and while a couple of them finished early, they came back to pick up their friends and to head out to get fast food.” "We're allowing ourselves to grieve and move forward,” he informed that the chain has brought in grief counselors. “They were leaders in our restaurant. They knew how to be great examples," he added.

The restaurant also posted on its Facebook about the tragedy, “We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of four of our Roadies. Our team is grieving alongside their families and friends. We appreciate the support of our Fort Myers community during this difficult time,” reports the Daily Mail.
Who was Jesus Salinas?
The only victim who didn’t work at the Texas Roadhouse was Jesus Salinas. Notably, he was Breanna Coleman’s boyfriend, who died with him in the crash. Salinas lived in Lehigh Acres. The family and friends reacted to the death of the teens. So far, authorities have not disclosed the cause of the crash and are still actively seeking any information related to the tragic incident.
