US Attorney Donald Cochran identified Anthony Quinn Warner on Sunday, December 27, as the bomber in a Christmas Day explosion that rocked downtown Nashville. Now, the investigation team has identified what could have pushed him to commit the crime. Anthony's father died of dementia after a career spent working for a telecommunications company, BellSouth. His death fueled Anthony's 5G conspiracy theories and made him believe that 5G cellular technology was killing people. Anthony allegedly targeted the AT&T transmission building in Nashville due to the conspiracy theories.

The 63-year-old worked in information technology as a freelance computer technician for local realty company Fridrich & Clark Realty's Green Hills and other businesses, his former boss Steve Fridrich told the Nashville Tennessean. Anthony resigned suddenly this month after working for the realtor for at least four years, a move Fridrich reported to the newspaper as “quite out of character". Anthony died in the suspected suicide blast and was identified on December 27 from DNA found in his mangled RV. According to a source close to the investigation, Anthony was "heavily into conspiracy theories".

Since the lightning-fast 5G network was introduced, various baseless theories have circulated claiming it’s a tool to spy on Americans, while others speculate that it has fueled the spread of Covid-19. Electronic devices seized from Anthony’s former home in Antioch, a suburb of Nashville, have been sent to a digital forensics laboratory to unlock his online activity and find out where he discussed his warped beliefs. "We are waiting on the digital footprint that should finally provide us with some answers. The unofficial motive thus far is the suspect believed 5G was the root of all deaths in the region and he’d be hailed a hero," the source explained.

Now, the agents are investigating if Quinn's theory over telecommunication began after his father, Charles B Warner, died in July 2011 due to dementia, when he was 78 years old. According to the death certificate obtained by DailyMail.com, Charles, nicknamed Popeye, died of dementia after spending his career working for BellSouth, a former AT&T subsidiary which re-merged with the company in 2006. It was further revealed how members of the Warner family were involved in a nasty dispute over property that became so bitter that Anthony was sued by his own mother.

According to Davidson County court records, Anthony’s 62-year-old brother, Steven Warner, died in September 2018, without leaving a will. Their mother, Betty Lane, who divorced Charles years before his death, disputed that the former family home that had passed from Charles to Steven should legally belong to her. According to the lawsuit filed by her, Anthony, acting as ‘attorney-in-fact’, fraudulently claimed the $250,000 home for himself in an August 2018 quitclaim deed transfer. Unmarried Anthony then mysteriously gave it to a 29-year-old, Los Angeles-based, woman named Michelle Louise Swing, whose links to him are unclear.

Charles died on July 5, 2011, when he was 78 years old. He is survived by his sons Steve and Tony Warner; daughter Teresa Wardrop (Jimmie); brothers James, Lawrence and Billy Warner; and grandson Shawn Godwin.
