MONTEGO BAY, JAMAICA: Jamaican social media influencer Aneka Townsend, aka Slickianna, was found dead on a beach by Marine police in Reading, Jamaica on Friday, October 21. Beach-goers discovered the semi-nude decomposing body of of Townsend. According to The Sun, Even though the 35-year-old kept her personal life under the wraps, she was supposedly dating a songwriter back in 2019.
According to Freshers Live, Townsend was said to be dating Baby Cham in 2019 after she was spotted at his hotel in Kingston. However, none of them responded to the rumor, especially since Cham is married to Miss O. As per the outlet, Townsend's marriage reportedly fell apart because of rumors that she was dating the husband of a well-known dancehall performer.

Meanwhile, police said the body was found in a semi-nude state with a wound to the head, wearing only shoes, per Loop. A towel covered in blood and a wig were found at the scene. Jamaican cops have identified a person of interest who could be behind the murder, also known as "Kayan."
Police had asked Rushane "Chizzie" Patterson of Hanover to turn himself over at the Freeport Police Station by 5.00 pm on Saturday, October 22, to assist in the investigation. Vernon Ellis, Senior Superintendent of Police and commander of the St James Police Division, reportedly said, “We have Rushane Patterson of Prosper, Hanover as a person of interest in this investigation and we are asking him to turn himself in to the police by 5.00 pm." However, cops said that Patterson was absconding after the deadline passed. Her body was identified by her mother on Saturday.
SSP Ellis also said that a motor vehicle was also seized by the police. He said, “A series of operations have been conducted this morning in a neighboring parish and a vehicle was recovered.” Townsend has a son and was a stripper at the Taboo Strip club in its former New Kingston location, as per Freshers Live. The cause of her death has not been determined by authorities to be suspicious as the matter was still being investigated by the police.

The 21-year-old TikTok Star completed her ground training with Skydive Toronto and was all hyped for her first solo dive with the possible hopes of sharing her fresh experience with a massive family of 100,000 followers. The adventure led to a tragic fate, as per the local reports. As per the diving school, the finalist for the 2017 Miss Canada pageant had "released a quickly-rotating main parachute at a low altitude without the time or altitude required for the reserve parachute to inflate."
