'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?' Finale: Fans are shocked Andy didn't know Jimmy Kimmel hosted the Oscars twice

Jimmy Kimmel's 'Who Wants to Be A Millionaire?' came to a close with a special finale episode featuring TV host-political commentator Anderson Cooper and radio and talk show host Andy Cohen. The two were challenged with a string of questions, answers to which were given with a healthy dose of humor and wit. Anderson and Andy were hoping to win a million bucks for their respective charities, Spikes K9 Fund and Planned Parenthood. They were getting it right for the most part, except for the one question that brought them to a halt. It was: "Who was the last person to host the Oscars before it went 'hostless'?" The question in itself wasn't that tough, but it was the options of answers that made it hard-to-guess for Andy and Anderson.

Andy thought it was Seth McFarlane and said to himself out loud: "I wonder if it would be embarrassing for Jimmy if he were the last person to host before it went hostless?" Jimmy smiled calmly while Andy continued with his guesswork. Anderson added to the jibe, said he wasn't sure if it would a "point of pride." After minutes of running in circles with the options at hand, Andy gave up and asked Jimmy for an answer. "Here's what I think," Jimmy paused and added that it was a humiliating experience. All was said in jest of course. But even when he shared the right answer, Andy continued to have his doubts. "I hosted the Oscars twice in a row and then they said never do this again," Jimmy further added.

Meanwhile, fans are surprised that Andy didn't know the right answer. "The most shocking part of @MillionaireTV tonight? @Andy not knowing the last few years of #theoscars One of the few upper-level questions I knew! #whowantstobeamillionaire," a viewer commented, while another shared: "I'm sorry, but Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen aren't very smart. #WhoWantsToBeAMillionaire #WWTBAMillionaire Even about stuff like THE OSCARS. Jesus!."

"Andy seriously doesn't know who the last person to host was! #whowantstobeamillionaire," a surprised viewer tweeted. "Jimmy was a solid Oscars host. If they have hosts again, he'd be one of my picks. #WhoWantsToBeAMillionaire," another posted.
