LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Atlas', starring Jennifer Lopez and Simu Liu in pivotal roles, is set to release on Netflix on May 24, 2024. 

In 'Atlas', Lopez plays a data analyst who finds herself stranded on a distant planet with the mission to protect life on Earth. Her character is sent into orbit to battle a rogue robot warrior with whom she has a history. 

When her mission falls apart, she must confront her fear of artificial intelligence and team up with it to rescue humanity.

Jennifer Lopez, a multi-talented American singer, actress, dancer, and businesswoman, takes on the pivotal role of Atlas Shepherd in Netflix's action film, 'Atlas'.

In the film, Atlas is sent into orbit to combat a rogue robot warrior, a formidable adversary with whom she shares a complex and mysterious history. 

Lopez began her career as a Fly Girl dancer on the TV show 'In Living Color'. She became famous with her role in the 1997 film 'Selena', portraying the iconic Tejano singer.

Some of her famous works include 'Shotgun Wedding', 'Bordertown', 'Out of Sight', 'What to Expect When You're Expecting', and 'The Boy Next Door'.

Simu Liu, a famous Canadian actor, plays Harlan Shepherd in 'Atlas.' Liu brings his trademark charisma and talent to the role, breathing life into Harlan's character.

Liu garnered significant attention when he landed the role of the titular character in Marvel Studios' 'Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings'. This casting made headlines as Liu became the first Asian superhero to headline a film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
