Who is Skyler? Ballet dancer from California auditions for 'American Idol' Season 20

Who is Skyler on 'American Idol'?
Skyler is a ballet dancer from California who will be auditioning for a spot on 'American Idol' Season 20. He was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and began studying ballet at the tender age of five. He studied ballet at the prestigious Lancaster School of Ballet and The Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre. He performed in The Nutcracker with Lancaster School of Ballet/The Donetsk Ballet, the Danbury Music Center, and ABT. He has also performed in Daniel Ulbricht’s Dancing Against Cancer Gala, and Nicole Javanna Johnson’s Grant’s Safari. He began choreographing in 2012. His works include Continuous, performed at the Lancaster Mennonite High School, gala Les Danses de L’Amour in Montana.
He is currently the Second Soloist with Semperoper Ballet. In an Instagram post in June 2020, Skyler shared, "So, the cat’s already out of the bag but... I’m happy to officially announce that I’ve been promoted to Second Soloist with the Semperoper Ballett! To say this year will be one to remember would be putting it mildly. In many ways, perseverance, growth and change will be very prominent themes of this time in my life, and in the world, which makes me even more grateful for this recognition. Thank you to my @semperoperballett family for all of your support and love over these past six years, and for being an integral part of my journey as a person and an artist. Also a big shout out to my booboo @alejandromazorin for always supporting me and lifting me up when I needed it. So excited to see what this new chapter has in store!"
