The 19-year-old TikTok sensation Zoe Laverne, who had previously denied having any sort of relationship with a minor fan, has now accepted that she kissed the 13-year-old Connor and revealed that the two "just ended up catching feelings for each other." Laverne issued an apology statement through a livestream on Instagram. She says, “I didn’t groom Connor, I wouldn’t do that. He’s a kid and I’m aware of that. It just happened. We both were in a dark place when we first became friends and we both just ended up catching feelings for each other. And friends do that, they catch feelings for each other. That’s not a bad thing. Yes, the age is a bad thing. Yes, it’s wrong. Yes, it’s not good. We both realized that and we stopped."

Meanwhile, Connor went live on Instagram to address Laverne's video and told his fans that she didn't "rape" him. He further states in his video that they were "more than friends" and both realized it was "wrong". According to reports, before addressing her fans through her Instagram story, Laverne wrote on Instagram about informing Connor's mother kissing her son. She wrote, "before anything was leaked I did tell his mom we kissed. She wasn't happy obviously but she understood that we are both teenagers and that feelings can be caught."

Laverne is a 19-year-old TikTok star with over 17 million followers. She is known among the app users for posting lip-sync, dance, and comedy videos. She often interacts with fans through vlogs. She enjoys more than 27 thousand followers on Twitter and boasts around 2.9 million followers on Instagram. Laverne has about 440,000 subscribers on YouTube.

She recently made headlines after multiple videos of her kissing the 13-year-old fan started taking over the Internet. One Twitter user sharing the controversial clip wrote, "*SERIOUS* Several videos of Zoe Laverne (19) kissing 13-year-old fan surfacing. Zoe had denied allegations she had a relationship with an underage fan after a hacker exposed Zoe’s ex-boyfriend’s DMs discussing the situation."

Meanwhile, defending her daughter Laverne's mother said, "Anybody can reach over and kiss somebody. They’re best friends." Laverne is also the owner of another Instagram account called zlpfandom 0.2, on which she shared a story confirming that the matter between her Connor had been settled and they weren't in touch anymore. She wrote, "Connor and I have had no communication for 3 days now. We are still friends but we think it’s best to stop talking and work on each other’s mental health and spend time with our families”.
