The 38-year-old biotech entrepreneur didn't shy away from challenging seasoned presidential contenders. He engaged in verbal sparring with former Vice President Mike Pence over the balance between freshness and experience. 

He also clashed with former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley regarding the situation in Ukraine. Additionally, he didn't hesitate to criticize Florida Governor Ron DeSantis by labeling him a 'super PAC puppet.'

Is Vivek Ramaswamy an Indian? 

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Vivek Ramaswamy's roots trace back to Indian immigrant parents. His father held roles as an engineer and patent attorney at General Electric, while his mother worked as a geriatric psychiatrist.

With an Ivy League education, Ramaswamy pursued his undergraduate studies at Harvard and later attended Yale for law school. It was during his time at Yale that he crossed paths with Apoorva, who was studying medicine.

Standing firmly by his side in support of his presidential campaign is his wife, Apoorva Tewari. Vivek recently expressed his admiration for Apoorva on social media, particularly on the occasion of her birthday.

Taking to Instagram, Vivek extended warm birthday wishes to the "love of my life" and took the opportunity to express, "So grateful for our every day together. Best decision I ever made". 

Who is Apoorva Tewari? 

At 34 years old, Apoorva was born in India before making her way to the United States to embark on a highly successful medical career.

Apoorva achieved her MD degree from Yale University, and her journey led her to become a resident physician at New York Presbyterian Hospital. This esteemed institution is an academic medical center linked with the Ivy League medical schools, Cornell and Columbia University.

Currently, Apoorva holds the role of an assistant professor at Ohio State University, contributing her expertise to both clinical and research endeavors. Beyond her academic commitments, she is a valued member of the medical advisory board for the National Foundation of Swallow Disorders.

Her professional focus, as evidenced by her LinkedIn profile, centers on the field of laryngology. Within this specialization, she concentrates on the treatment of swallowing and voice disorders in individuals who have faced challenges following cancer treatments.
