GLENDALE, ARIZONA: The Navarro family's main spokesperson, Trent Steele, did not provide confirmation regarding whether their missing teen daughter Alicia Navarro, has been reunited with her family. Steele, the co-founder of the Florida-based nonprofit Anti-Predator Project, was deeply involved in the search for Alicia.

In an interview with The US Sun, Steele said he could not confirm the homecoming of Alicia who went missing just a week before her 15th birthday in 2019.

After being missing for four years, Alicia Navarro miraculously reappeared on July 23 and took the initiative to report herself to a police station in Havre, Montana. She requested that the police officers remove her from the missing persons database.

Earlier, when the search for Alicia had proved fruitless, her mother, Jessica Navarro, had sought the assistance from the general public by creating a Facebook page titled 'Finding Alicia'.

Following her discovery, the police learned that Alicia had been living with a 36-year-old man named Edmund Davis. Subsequently, Davis was arrested on multiple charges, including child sex abuse.

Jessica Navarro said her family was ‘complete again’

The Navarro family had originally planned to hold a press conference in Chicago this week, but they suddenly reversed their decision and decided not to proceed with it.

In the midst of these events, Jessica also posted a video on Steele's nonprofit's Facebook page, expressing her gratitude to everyone who had contributed to the efforts in locating her missing daughter.

In the video posted on Wednesday, November 1, she shared the words, "The last four years have been truly inspiring. This has been a difficult journey, but it has a happy ending, and today my family is complete again.”

Following her remarks, she expressed her gratitude to the Glendale Police and Trent Steele's team.

She also added, "The holidays in our home this year will be incredibly special for many reasons, and none of it would have been possible without the support my family and I have received from all of you."

However, she made it clear that she would not be providing any further comments to the media.

Remarkably, the Facebook page 'Finding Alicia' left a comment under the video, saying, "Thank you for bringing her home and making this day possible."

Trent Steel said Navarro family ‘doesn't want more media attention’

Recently, several news outlets reported, citing an unnamed spokesperson, that Alicia has reunited with her family and they are eagerly anticipating celebrating Christmas together.

Questioning the credibility of the reports, Trent Steele, the co-founder of the Florida-based nonprofit Anti-Predator Project and the primary spokesperson for the family, stated, "We can't even comment or confirm that they've [Navarro and her mother] been reunited at this point.”

He further added, "I know there some reports out there circulating, that she's [Navarro] been reunited, etc, they said they spoke with a family spokesperson. I'm handling all the media on behalf of the family, so I'm not sure who they spoke with."

Steele declined to disclose details about the family's living arrangement, stating, "The family will come out and talk about all of that when they're ready.”

"They've made it pretty clear that they just don't want any more media attention, they don't want to comment on it. There may come a time when they do, but right now, they just want some privacy,” Steele added.

Steele also provided an explanation for Jessica's video, stating, "Everyone can kind of infer what they want to from that. It can mean a lot of things - it can mean that they're together; it can mean they've spoken on the phone, or it can mean they're (sic) chatted online.”

"It can mean a lot of different things. We're being very vague on that for a reason,” concluded Steele.
