SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH: 'RHOSLC' star Monica Garcia recently took to her Instagram after her appearance on The Viall Files podcast to share some exciting news with her followers. The mother of four revealed that she is expecting again, this time with her boyfriend, Braxton Knight, who had been kept secret until now.
Braxton, who is currently 29 years old, works as the general manager of Wasatch Excursions in Utah. His role revolves around leading guided or self-guided tours of the picturesque Heber Valley during the fall and exploring the mountains in the winter. While Monica has kept Braxton's identity under wraps, the 29-year-old maintains a private Instagram account, making it difficult for fans to learn more about him.
Braxton's first encounter with Monica was during her snowmobile scene with Heather Gay. Both Braxton and Monica come from the Mormon faith, although Braxton has since chosen to no longer practice it. While Monica was excommunicated due to her affair, Braxton chose to voluntarily leave the faith.
Taking the internet by surprise, Monica revealed being pregnant for the fifth time, "Yes. I already have four girls. No. I was not planning on being 39 and going through the baby stage again, but unexpectedly here I am,” she captioned a video.
While many were happy for the couple, some expressed disapproval, and Monica wasn't one to overlook it. "For everyone making hateful comments and judging me as a mother, immediately deleted and blocked," she said, hinting at all the hate she received since she announced her pregnancy. "I will not intake the negativity coming at me over a baby,” she said on her Instagram.

"I became pregnant at a young age and married her father. One day, while he was away for work, I heard my daughter playing with something on the floor. To my horror, I found her with a clear plastic bag full of oxycontin," she said. "In that instant, I knew I had to protect my daughter, so I grabbed her and never turned back," she added.
Later, Mike adopted Bri and since then has been a father figure to the 18-year-old. "I started dating Mike when Bri was one. So that has always been Dad," she said. "This is not the first time that Bri has seen these photos, so Bri is very well aware that Mike adopted her because when I was going through all of this, I went to therapy. And the number one thing that the therapist told me was, 'Always be honest.'"

Monica mentioned that there have been numerous speculations, particularly regarding "an affair" behind her split with Mike, however, she disclosed experiencing domestic violence, which ultimately led to her divorce from her ex-husband, Mike Fowler. Addressing rumors about her divorce, Garcia took to Instagram to set the record straight. She clarified that the divorce was not due to an affair but rather because of Fowler's alleged abuse. She also shared her painful experience, expressing her intention to discuss it on the show to raise awareness about domestic violence and offer support to others enduring similar situations.
Despite the tough times, Garcia, who completed her divorce in October 2023, received financial support for her children and herself. She also gained sole custody of her four daughters, both legally and physically.
