'sMothered' Season 5: Who is Sunnie’s boyfriend? Eva confronts daughter’s beau Scott over marriage fears
HOUSTON, TEXAS: TLC star Eva is eager to hear the wedding bells ringing for her daughter Sunnie and her boyfriend Scott.
In a clip from the latest episode of 'sMothered' Season 5, Eva was seen confronting Scott as he shared his views on marriage.
Scott said in the clip, "So the day was lovely, it was nice and we both enjoyed very much. With that being said, I love Sunnie very much but for now, you know, there's just no rush."
He added, "Just doing stuff like that is not going to make it happen any sooner," to which Eva responded, "To be honest with you, this is a red flag for me."
Scott then said, "That's a red flag? Oh my gosh, there's no wedding." Eva then declared that her daughter Sunnie doesn't want to "just be [his] girlfriend" because "her time is ticking."
Sunnie's beau stated that pressurizing him to get married would actually scare him away, firmly declaring that while he "loves" where the two of them are right now and where the relationship is going, "shoving a wedding down my throat isn't gonna make it happen... those are the kind of things that's gonna make the relationship not work. That's toxic. That's not okay."
During a confessional, Scott also said, "It's very hard for us to enjoy where we are at now as far as our relationship because I always feel this constant weight and that's basically the pressure that Eva puts on me about marriage."
He continues, "I wish that she would try to understand my thoughts or where I'm coming from."
Scott then revealed that the reason he hasn't married Sunnie is because her mom is pushing for marriage when he isn't ready, calling it a "red flag," and staring pointedly at Eva.

When did 'sMothered' stars Sunnie and Scott begin dating?
'sMothered' stars Sunnie and Scott have been together for almost a year now. The two lovebirds have been enjoying their girlfriend-boyfriend phase for the past year.
However, while Sunnie is all set to walk down the aisle, Scott is not ready to take the big step as of now.

At the end of the day, Eva just wants her daughter Sunnie to be happy, but her strong opinions about her daughter's romantic relationships might put their mother-daughter bond in jeopardy.
