Who is Robert L Peters? James Comer demands unredacted records of usage of Joe Biden's pseudonym while he was VP
WASHINGTON, DC: House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer requested the National Archives to provide any records revealing Joe Biden's use of pseudonyms to discuss his activities related to Ukraine with his son Hunter during his time as vice president.
Comer sent a letter to the Archivist of the United States Colleen Shogan on Thursday, August 17 asking for "unrestricted special access" to "email messages to and/or from Vice President Biden and Hunter Biden related to Burisma and Ukraine," according to Daily Mail.
He also requested "all draughts" of Vice President Biden's speech to the Ukrainian Rada on December 9, 2015. In his speech, Biden praised the anti-corruption initiatives in the nation and called for an overhaul and reform of the office of the general prosecutor.
Who is Robert L Peters?
Emails previously released by the Archives and retrieved from Hunter’s abandoned laptop reveal that while serving as Barack Obama's vice president, Biden used various private email addresses from which he would sometimes send, receive, and forward government correspondence.
'Robert L. Peters' is one of the pseudonyms the House Oversight Committee believes Biden used for his private email addresses. "Robin Ware" and "JRB Ware" are two further aliases used by the US president that were discovered by the committee, according to NY Post.
“Joe Biden has stated there was ‘an absolute wall’ between his family’s foreign business schemes and his duties as Vice President, but evidence reveals that access was wide open for his family’s influence peddling,” Comer (R-Ky) said in a statement.
“We already have evidence of then-Vice President Biden speaking, dining, and having coffee with his son’s foreign business associates. We also know that Hunter Biden and his associates were informed of then-Vice President Biden’s official government duties in countries where they had a financial interest,” the committee chairman continued.
The primary emphasis of the House Oversight Committee's request relates to Hunter's $1 million per year position on the board of the Ukrainian gas giant Burisma, which recruited the then-second son in early 2014 as his father took over responsibility for the Obama administration's Ukraine policy.
The extensive request for unredacted records pertaining to the president's pseudonym may find a range of information, including regarding other Biden family businesses in countries like China.
Comer’s requests come after Hunter's former business partner Devon Archer testified earlier this month that Biden's 'brand' protected Burisma because "people would be intimidated to mess with them."

Sean Hannity alleges Biden used pseudonyms to hide his ‘communications’
Reflecting on HOC’s developments, Fox host Sean Hannity claimed that Biden used pseudonyms to hide his conversations from the public eye.
“Emails retrieved from zero experience Hunter Biden's laptop, Robert Peters appears to be a pseudonym for your president, Joe Biden when he was using as vice president to conduct official government business,” he said, according to Fox News.
He added that “Biden [was] likely trying to hide these communications from prying eyes or public records requests.”
Hannity also emphasized HOC’s request for Biden’s speech drafts. “It looks like the "Big guy" was possibly sending drafts of a speech to the Ukrainian parliament, to his son Hunter, who at the time we know was addicted to drugs and had no experience in Ukraine, energy, or oil. Now, very strange to say the least,” he expressed.
