DREZDENKO, POLAND: Natalia Kaczmarek, born on 17 January 1998, is a talented Polish sprinter with a specialization in the 400 meters. Her achievements in the sport have been impressive, most notably winning the silver medal in the 400 meters event at the 2022 European Championships.

Kaczmarek's success extends to her contributions in the 4 x 400 m relay events on the global stage. Notably, she earned a gold medal in the mixed event and a silver medal in the women's event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, showcasing her exceptional abilities as a relay runner as well. Kaczmarek is engaged to a renowned shot putter 

The Olympic champion in the mixed relay is all set to marry Konrad Bukowiecki, the renowned shot putter, who is preparing to participate in the European Athletics Championships in Munich. The couple have been in a relationship for four years, though their acquaintance dates back even further. The spark between the two first ignited in January 2018 during a sports camp in South Africa. However, seven months after that memorable camp, their feelings had grown significantly, and they couldn't imagine a world without each other. Despite the challenge of living hundreds of kilometers apart - with Konrad hailing from Szczytno and Natalia from Drezdenko in the Lubuskie Voivodeship - they explored different ways to stay close. Frequent camp meetings were one option they considered. Eventually, during one of these gatherings, they made the momentous decision to live together.

At the delayed Tokyo Olympics in 2021, Kaczmarek showcased her talent by securing two medals. She earned a gold medal as part of Poland's mixed 4x400 relay team, alongside Karol Zalewski, Justyna Swiety-Ersetic, and Kajetan Duszynski. Additionally, she won a silver medal as a member of the women's 4×400m relay team, partnering with Iga Baumgart-Witan, Małgorzata Hołub-Kowalik, and Świety-Ersetic. On February 15, 2023, Natalia Kaczmarek achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first Polish woman to break the 51-second barrier in the indoor 400m race. She accomplished this feat with an impressive time of 50.90 seconds, finishing second in the prestigious Meeting Hauts-de-France Pas-de-Calais held in Liévin, France, only behind the talented athlete Femke Bol.
