Narciso Cruz Banos reportedly discovered that 32-year-old Romero engaged in an affair with his 42-year-old wife Francisca Salazar Carrizales.

Both the alleged killer and his wife who are described as Houston-area electrical business partners and parents of two children aged 11 and 12 are reportedly not US citizens, reported Law and Crime.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, cops discovered a body in a "detached structure" on the alleged murderer's 11555 Ezekiel Road property after the victim's wife reported his missing and requested a welfare check.

"Romero had been reported missing by a family member and was last known to be at the Ezekiel address," stated the sheriff’s office.
