PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: Nancy LaFancy appeared on Season 5 of 'America's Got Talent' as a dancer, but she was eliminated in the audition round.

NBC's 'AGT', which is part of Simon Cowell's global 'Got Talent' franchise, is a talent competition program that brings together all types of performers from throughout the country, including singers, dancers, magicians, comedians, and more. To proceed in the competition, contestants must demonstrate their unique abilities in front of famous judges. Each performer auditions in front of the judges in order to gain a spot in the live shows. The eligible contestants then compete against one another to receive the votes of the judges and the public in order to advance to the live final. The winner eventually earns a sizable financial award. Nancy returned to the show in Season 18, more than a decade later, hoping to receive three yes votes.

Who is Nancy LaFancy?

Nancy, a returning participant, previously competed as a dancer on 'AGT' Season 5, but all the judges dismissed her. She has also been featured on 'Let's Make A Deal' lately.

Also known as the 'Queen of the Trailer Park', Nancy was born in Richardson, Texas. She currently lives in Texas, where she can be seen dancing her heart out on the streets. Nancy states she "doesn't have a shy bone or a cellulite divot anywhere (ok, just the cellulite)." Nancy has nearly 4k followers on TikTok, where she announced her return just hours before the Season 18 premiere.

On June 2, 2010, the second episode of Season 5 and the 75th episode of 'AGT' was aired. It was the second episode of the auditions, and it took place in Dallas. Eight acts from this show advanced to the Vegas Round, while six were eliminated.

In the episode, Nancy LaFancy auditioned by dancing to techno music. The act was buzzed by Howie Mandel, Sharon Osbourne, and Piers Morgan. All three judges voted "No," ousting Nancy from the competition.

The audience erupted when Nancy entered the stage in her startling pink wig. "Fashion tips later, ladies!" she says. Nancy then introduces herself to the judges and explains that she is back on 'AGT' to make the world smile. She adds she is confident that she can win the competition.

Nancy begins her act with a rainbow-colored umbrella that rains confetti while the song 'It's Raining Men' plays in the background. Before Sofia Vergara could process this, Nancy rips off her bottoms, only to reveal shiny golden shorts with the word "BOOM" written across her buttocks.

When Simon buzzes her in the middle of her act, she responds quickly, questioning why she was stopped in the middle of her performance. Simon explains to her how comedy is subjective, but he found her act to be a bit boring. Heidi Klum and Howie both agreed.
