What is known about Makiah Green?

Green is Tennessee Titans star Haskins’ girlfriend who recently made news after the latter was arrested for allegedly strangling her during a fight. The altercation that began on June 22 with Green hitting like on another man’s Instagram photo continued as the pair slapped each other, police reports revealed as per the New York Post. At one point, Green threatened to slash the tires of Haskins’ car but restrained herself after he allegedly cocked a gun, The Tennessean reported.

A second argument ensued on Thursday, June 29, leading to more violence between the two. Haskins allegedly left Green at a restaurant and forced her to take an Uber to reach their shared home. Upon arriving at the residence, Green allegedly threw a glass at Haskins before hiding in a bedroom, ESPN reported. Shortly after, Haskins allegedly broke down the bedroom door, further intensifying the situation.

Green is also accused of grabbing and shattering Haskins’ phone after seeing photos of naked women in the device, the publication noted. According to the arrest warrant, “Ms Green stated she then went into the kitchen and grabbed a knife because she was going to slash his tires.” It further mentioned, “Ms Green stated as she was walking towards the garage, she heard Mr. Haskins cock his gun and said, ‘I hope you would,’” before she put her knife down. Reports suggest that Haskins agreed with Green’s account before adding his own set of allegations against his girlfriend.

Haskins accused Green of putting a hole in a wall by throwing his Playstation 5, jumping on him and trying to strangle him from behind. While Haskins showed videos of Green hitting him with a broom, Green also provided police with photos of bruising on her right arm and cheek and a scratch on the side of her neck. In addition to Haskins, Green also was also arrested and charged with aggravated assault by strangulation and felony vandalism before being released on a $7,500 bond.
