CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA: Austin Borders is a 27-year-old software salesperson and trained Brazillian jiu-jitsu athlete from Charlotte, North Carolina. His elder brother Devin Borders passed away in a tragic motorcycle accident on March 2, 2022.

As per reports by Queen City News, he lost control of his 2002 Harley Davidson near Freedom Park in SE Charlotte. This incident impacted Austin and his family's lives deeply. 

Austin hails from Charlotte, where he was born and raised by his parents Ron and Sandy Borders. In addition to his brother Devin, he has a sister named Crystal Stokes. His interests encompass travel, reading, networking, playing guitar, and discovering new venues.

Austin also enjoys attending concerts and comedy shows, and he likes to go hiking occasionally. He values his family and friends greatly, considering himself a family-oriented person.

As per his SmoothComp profile, Austin Borders has a purple belt in jiu-jitsu. He is a part of Charlotte Jiu-jitsu Academy. He has bagged 15 wins in Jiu-jitsu competitions.

As per the sneak peek shared by Netflix, Austin Borders stated "This is new and this is something that not a lot of people get to do and I appreciate what life has given me."

Austin Borders has been a Senior Sales Development Representative in BrightEdge since August 2023 where he sells Search Engine Optimization software to clients.

As per his LinkedIn, Austin Borders completed his Associate of Arts degree from Cattawa Valley Community College in May 2016.

He then proceeded to get a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology in August 2019. He joined as a certified personal trainer in August 2018. He then joined as a Sales Account Executive at CGI Communications in January 2021.

In July 2021 he made a few attempts in the housing market and even became a certified licensed loan officer. He joined PrimeLine Capital Inc. in July 2021 as a Production Manager and was promoted to Mortgage Loan Consultant in August 2021.

He finally joined BrightEdge in June 2022 as a Sales Development Representative and was later promoted to Senior Sales Department Representative.

Austin Borders expects his future partner to communicate with him without any barriers. He mentioned, "One thing I would love with my partner is just having a morning conversation over a cup of coffee."
