Louis Capriotti: MAGA fan who threatened to 'kill any motherf**king Democrat' who goes to Biden inauguration arrested
As Joe Biden's inauguration draws near, pro-Trump supporters continue to make headlines. One of them was Louis Capriotti. The 45-year-old was arrested near his home on Tuesday after he allegedly left a voicemail for an unnamed Congress member from New Jersey. Capriotti reportedly said his fellow supporters and he would not allow Biden to be sworn in on January 20.
According to The US Sun, Capriotti claimed: If people "think that Joe Biden is going to put his hand on the bible and walk into that f***ing White House on January 20, they're sadly f**king mistaken." He also added: "We will surround the motherf**king White House and we will kill any motherf**king Democrat that steps on the motherf**king lawn."
That wasn't all as he dubbed the Democrats as "f**king terrorists." The site also added that Capriotti had done this previously by calling members of Congress with insults and threats (via NBC Chicago). As per one of the criminal complaints filed in the US District Court, Chicago, the suspect, as the report reads left "several disturbing, anonymous messages" on voicemails of multiple Congress members between October 2019 and January 2020.
One of his voicemails reportedly sees him call himself a Marine for nine years and had "killed several terrorists." He went on to add he would continue to do so as that was what he was trained to do. The site also added he spoke about "some big news is about to go down" in the coming weeks. News of Capriotti's arrest follows the devastating Capitol riots last Wednesday, January 6, that saw five dead and multiple rioters tracked by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
As per an abc7 report, "Our office takes the security of our public servants very seriously," US Attorney John Lausch said in a statement. "Individuals who cross the line of free speech by making unlawful threats will be held accountable." The punishment would see a maximum sentence of five years of time in prison.
Twitterati hoped Capriotti would not go unpunished. "I hope Louis Capriotti never sees the light of day again. I hope his family pays for his just "fucking with them" for all future generations. His family name will always be associated with treason and sedition against the United States of America," one of the tweets read.

"Louis Capriotti is the MAGA base. Which is also the Republican base. The @gop have gotten dangerous morons to believe their phony story about election fraud. These peoples’ anger was stoked by lies of Trump and the GOP. Like @tedcruz and @SenHawleyPress who hate democracy," read a comment.

Earlier, President Trump issued a dramatic declaration for Washington DC amid growing fears of violent clashes as Joe Biden's inauguration on January 20 looms large. Trump ordered federal agencies to provide help to local law enforcement. His emergency declaration states that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) can provide the required assistance from Monday through January 24.
The declaration stated: "Specifically, FEMA is authorized to identify, mobilize, and provide at its discretion, equipment, and resources necessary to alleviate the impacts of the emergency. Emergency protective measures, limited to direct Federal assistance, will be provided at 100 percent Federal funding." The DC National Guard plans to have at least a minimum of 10,000 troops on the ground by the weekend.
