When Jess admitted that she didn't get any chance to explore connections, Blake said, "I feel the unsureness in you." Blake asked her to try to figure out what she wanted, adding, "The way that I’m taking it is that you’re just not into it enough."
However, Jess refused and said, "It’s not true. I haven’t even like put myself out there 'cause I've cared so much about you and my friends." She added, "I haven’t even done anything for myself. Not one time."
Jess had previously expressed interest in Tanner Courtad, but he invited Kat Izzo on his date instead after speaking with both of them when he arrived on the beach.
