LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Blueface is being sued for defamation after claiming in a series of social media posts that Soulja Boy's one-year-old child is his. On December 22, Jackilyn Martinez, Soulja Boy's baby momma, filed a case in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Blueface allegedly received a cease-and-desist letter from her attorneys on December 19, but he "callously and mockingly" reacted on Instagram with the words, "Nobody even said your name."
In her petition, Jackilyn indicated that while she did have protected intercourse with Blueface once in 2018, she hasn't had any contact with him since. "There is zero chance that the defendant is plaintiff’s child’s biological father," her complaint, which Rolling Stone acquired, stated.
Jackilyn stated that she got many death threats on Instagram immediately after posting on her own account that she had sent Blueface the cease and desist letter.
"Plaintiff is gravely concerned for herself and her child’s safety and well being, and plaintiff is extremely nervous and afraid to go outside and/or be in public," she said in her complaint. According to her, the allegedly defamatory words portray her as "promiscuous" and "unfaithful to the father of her child."
Blueface, according to Jackilyn, has not withdrawn or erased the remarks from social media, and she feels he created them in order to advance his career by "engaging in a feud" with Soulja Boy.
Defamation, false light, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and carelessness are among Jackilyn's accusations. She is seeking actual and punitive damages, attorney's expenses, and a permanent order prohibiting Blueface from defaming her.
Jackilyn is a famous hairstylist from Los Angeles who also happens to be a licensed cosmetologist, according to her Instagram bio. She has collaborated with a number of well-known celebrities, including Brandy, Cordae, Kim Kardashian, Tamar Braxton, The Weeknd, Sy'Rai, and others.
Jackilyn's Instagram bio also indicates that she is a business owner. She has 36.8K followers, and her postings generally depict her having fun at various events.
Several of them also show her posing with Soulja Boy.
When did Jackilyn Martinez and Soulja Boy start dating?
Nobody knew when Jackilyn and Soulja Boy first started dating. Aliyah Hanes, the artist's former lover, revealed that she was taken aback when Martinez announced her pregnancy.
Aliyah stated that she was upset after hearing the pregnancy announcement, since she had hoped to have a future with Soulja Boy.
Soulja Boy and Blueface had a heated online exchange
Blueface and Soulja Boy's spat has erupted into a heated internet discussion, with both musicians flinging accusations at each other. The quarrel arose from a dispute about who would win a Verzuz combat.
Soulja Boy is said to have texted Blueface his address, forcing the California rapper to arrive there, only to discover Soulja missing. This event heightened emotions and fueled the continuing rivalry.
Blueface and Soulja Boy carried their spat to Instagram Live, where they traded barbs over their relationships with women and charges of snitching.
Blueface pleaded guilt in shooting case and placed on three years of probation
Blueface will serve up to three years on probation after pleading guilty to charges relating to a gunshot outside a Las Vegas strip club in October 2022. Initially arrested in November 2021 on accusations of attempted murder with a dangerous weapon and shooting a handgun at/into an occupied structure, the rapper was released on bail.
The attempted murder allegation was subsequently dropped as part of the plea arrangement, with Blueface pleading guilty in July 2022 to battery and discharging a handgun.

According to KTNV in Las Vegas, Blueface's probation restrictions prohibit him from using alcohol or drugs, having firearms, or contacting the victim. He'll also have to avoid the Las Vegas Strip and the city's downtown region unless he's on business.
