LONDON, ENGLAND: In London's episode of 'The Bachelor' we saw Gabi Elnicki and Zach Shallcross going on a dreamy date. Well, even though it was beautiful, there were some bitter things that were discussed. Gabi, for the first time in a long time, felt seen by someone. But, what caught everyone's attention was when Gabi talked about her traumatizing past with her ex-boyfriend.
Gabi claimed that more than being felt "loved" she felt "liked." And, that was the best part of her date. 'The Bachelor' Season 27 star claimed, "I love that you also see that this is not always." She further explained that there couldn't always be a time when she will be all dressed up and soaked in makeup. There will be times when she will have no makeup on and be wearing sweatpants while sitting in the room. Who is Gabi Elnicki's ex?
In the recently released episode, Gabi was overwhelmed seeing Zach praise her and look at her as if there was no one else more beautiful than her. Seeing the kind of response, Gabi claimed that she has not felt "seen." The star added, "neither in my previous relationship." To this Zach asked, "Was it a long relationship?" Gabi replied, "It was like 2 years." Gabi didn't take the name of her ex on the show. Though there is no hint on the internet about who Gabi's ex was.
Gabi's social media reveals nothing about her ex either. There is almost no post with any of the potential man who she could have had a romantic connection in the past. However, when we rolled down her posts on social media, we saw Gabi's picture with Dansby Swanson. This post from 2014 had a caption in it, "ily." Well, the comment that followed along with the post was almost everyone saying, "date." Well, Swanson might be the one she could have been talking about in the shows. But, it's still not certain.
'I feel like I lost a little bit of myself'
Gabi opened up to Zach on their date about her ex. She revealed that things didn't go out the right way between her and her ex. The star stated, "things happened that made me feel like not confident." Therefore, on her current date when Zach made her feel beautiful and loved and seen, she was overwhelmed by the situation. She further recalled her traumatizing experience when with her ex and said, "I feel like I lost a little bit of myself" when with her ex.
The star always thought that she was not good-looking enough to be noticed by Zach. Indeed, in the starting episodes of 'The Bachelor' Season 27, we saw her spending time alone. But, slowly she came out of her shell and started interacting and spending time with Zach. The main part for Gabi is to know that her partner can accept her without any fancy outfits or makeup.
