'Summer House' Season 7: Fashion consultant Gabby Prescod joins cast after break-up with cheating ex
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Long Island is gearing up to welcome back the cast and crew of 'Summer House,' including a few newcomers like Gabby Prescod. As Prescod prepares for her rookie season in the Hamptons, viewers are eager to meet the newcomer.
Bravo's favorite summer program returns for Season 7, but the cast has been shuffled. With Alex Wach and Luke Gulbranson gone, there was plenty of room for some new faces. 'Summer House' has been a huge hit for Bravo since 2014. The series, which usually premieres during the frigid winter months, revolves around numerous industrious New Yorkers from all walks of life. While Monday through Friday is all about making money, the weekend is all about decompressing, since summer should be pleasant, right? The ragtag group of young people shows viewers what it's like to hang around at the playground of the affluent and famous.

Who is Gabby Prescod?
Prescod, 32, was born in Westchester. She graduated from Trinity College in Hartford in 2012 and worked as a fashion student at Marie Amelie Sauve. She has since worked as a fashion assistant and director for CR Fashion Book, W Magazine, BDG, Interview Magazine, and Grazia USA. Furthermore, she is presently the fashion director at Blanc magazine. She is Bustle's Style Lead and Senior Fashion Market Editor. She is in charge of fashion direction and marketing for all of Bustle's unique fashion and beauty shoots. She also compiles monthly trend and fashion roundups.
Furthermore, she also co-hosts Theprescodsisters podcast with her elder sister, Daniele, who works as a Style Director for BET. The podcast with her sister grew naturally since there were so many images of them together, and when they began getting hired together, they realized they needed somewhere for all of this content to stay and make sense, and it didn't make sense for it to exist on their personal pages.
Prescod is a Taurus with a Scorpio moon and a rising Leo, so "I'm definitely a lot." She works in fashion and enjoys shopping luxury consignment, since she is concerned about the environment and strives to have a circular closet. Tennis is something she and her sister grew up doing as a family, and it provides her with so much joy.
The Prescod Sisters (not twins) are plastic-shaming girl bosses during the day and scene tastemakers at night. Danielle supervises all things fashion market at Bustle, while Prescod directs digital content for a television network. When they are not working, you can typically find them horseback riding, working out or spending time with Harry, their beloved family dog. Prescod and her sister were always quite outspoken about what they thought was correct as children, and they attended an all-girls high school, which affected how comfortable they felt expressing themselves. She, on the other hand, admitted on her blog that she was quite shy in expressing her ideas earlier in her career. "But with the emergence of social media and having some kind of platform, it feels irresponsible and certainly a pointed choice to remain silent. Everyone that uses social media, no matter how big or small their following is, has the ability to reach people, so it’s important to use that opportunity to try to make things better," she said.
Prescod communicates with her family on a daily basis, frequently numerous times each day. She is borderline codependent, so chatting with them keeps her grounded.

Prescod is very close to her family, according to her Bravo profile, and she went to them when her ex-boyfriend cheated on her. She is now "single and ready to mingle," according to her bio. She also believes in astrological signs, with the network behind 'Summer House' telling her that if she lets her guard down, she could discover her perfect partner.
'Summer House' Season 7 premieres on Monday, February 13, at 9/8c.
