Many consider actor Damson Idris' breakout role to be that of Franklin Saint in FX show called 'Snowfall'. Idris, who was born in London, is a 29-year-old English actor who has in recent times appeared in more movies since his role in 'Snowfall' brought his talent to the forefront.

His dating life has been of interest to many of his fans however the actor has kept his private life completely under the wraps. Anytime the actor has commented on love it has been generic. For instance, during the press run for his recent film 'Outside the Wire', opposite Anthony Mackie, Idris had commented on how love among other things was something that should be experienced with no borders.

In the interview with Looper, while he had spoken about different roles that he would like to play, Idris had said, "From Americans to Europeans, to South Americans, to Africans, I'm excited to go all over the globe! The film is global — experience, love, peace is global. And that's why I hope to portray in movies and the characters I play in the future."

According to reports, it is believed that Idris was at least involved in one serious relationship, however, at the moment, it is speculated that the actor could be single. Idris is the youngest of six children and was brought up by his mother in a single-parent home.

After 'Outside of the Wire', Idris will next be seen in 'Snowfall' Season 4 which returns to FX in February. Speaking about his role in 'Snowfall' and how working on the show has changed since the pandemic, Idris had recently said, "Originally, we started filming Season 4 in February of 2020, and then we started hearing whispers of this virus. We thought we were good and then boom, March came and they said we were halting production for two weeks, which turned into 2021."

He also added, "During this time, I got to sit back and identify who I am outside of acting, which has been really special to me. I am trying to learn Spanish, although it's not going well, and Duolingo does not like me (laughs). I've been watching a lot of movies and focusing on my family. I'm overseas right now and I'm having to FaceTime as much as possible. I spent Christmas and my birthday alone, but it put things into perspective for me. When we picked Snowfall back up this fall, it was a different and tighter set because of COVID. We have a lot more safety guidelines in place, but I’m not complaining. I'm just fortunate and thankful that I'm able to work during this time because being an actor, that’s not always the case."
