'The Bachelor' Season 27: Who is Cara Ammon? Investment banker excited to find love outside dating apps
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: In the upcoming season of ABC's 'The Bachelor,' a Pittsburgh native will be seen competing for love. Cara Ammon is one of 30 women who will be vying for Zach Shallcross' heart on the forthcoming season of 'The Bachelor.'
The 27th season of 'The Bachelor' is just around the corner. Despite the fact that Zach did not find love as a participant in 'The Bachelorette,' he now has another chance to find love this season. On his quest for true love, Zach will meet thirty single ladies. During the 'After the Final Rose' episode, which closed Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia's season of 'The Bachelorette,' he previously met five contestants. With that in mind, let's get to know Cara Ammon.

Who is Cara Ammon?
Cara Ammon, who resides in New York and is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is one of the 30 suitors slated to participate on the ABC show. Cara is 27 years old, only a year older than Zach. She has been described as ambitious and focused with her entire life planned out, except for relationships. She has tried dating apps as well as blind dating with little success. Now that she's about to feature on the show, Zach might be able to change that. According to her Instagram posts, she was most likely in a relationship with a man called Zach Diamond from 2016 to 2019.
As part of IES Abroad, the future bachelor cast member spent a semester in Barcelona, Spain, in 2016, studying Spanish culture and history (Institute for the International Education of Students). Penn State University awarded her a bachelor's degree in business administration and management.
On the professional front, Cara has been a recruiter for over five years. While working at Goldman Sachs, she oversaw recruiting for ProUnlimited in Jersey City, New Jersey, from June 2017 until June 2019. From July 2019 until May 2021, she worked as a lateral recruiter and investment banker for Guggenheim Partners in New York City. Since May 2021, the prospective 'The Bachelor' cast member has worked as a corporate recruiter and investment banker at JP Morgan.
Cara's Instagram shows that she has visited Puerto Rico, Rome, Greece, Lisbon, and Costa Rica. She posts highlights from each trip on her Instagram feed, which now has a little more than 3k followers and is likely to grow once 'The Bachelor' debuts.
She will compete against 29 other ladies on the program, all of whom will try to woo Zach Shallcross as much as possible. Cara is described as powerful, motivated, and gorgeous by the ABC. It further adds, "She really has her life figured out, from her career to her social life, but there’s one major piece missing ― a husband. Cara has tried dating apps and being set up, but she is way more excited about this new, unique opportunity to find love with Zach. When she isn’t hustling in the office, she jamming to Justin Bieber while walking around New York City."
