Who is Bashuad Breeland?
Breeland is a professional American football player who primarily played as a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL) and accrued a notable eight-year career in the NFL, initially commencing with the Washington Football Team. He later embarked on a stint with the Green Bay Packers for a single season before joining the Kansas City Chiefs.
With the Chiefs, Breeland secured victory in Super Bowl LIV in 2020, triumphing over the San Francisco 49ers. Notably, he started 11 regular-season games for the Chiefs and participated in all three postseason games during that championship-winning campaign.
In the subsequent phases of his NFL journey, Breeland concluded his career by spending his final season with the Minnesota Vikings in 2021, an episode that concluded unfavorably due to reports of his involvement in a confrontation with both coaches and teammates. Residing in Charlotte, he has expressed his desire for an opportunity to rejoin the Panthers.
However, his history encompasses legal entanglements and suspensions. In 2020, Breeland faced a four-game suspension from Chiefs' participation due to a violation of the NFL's policy and program concerning substance abuse. Furthermore, during his tenure with the Washington football team, he experienced a suspension in 2015 as well.
