Sanchez began playing soccer when she was a child with Legends FC, Santa Anita SC, and So Cal Blues, as per Wikipedia. In 2017, she started her collegiate soccer career after she joined the UCLA Bruins. Sanchez was among the top eleven on the Pac-12 all-conference team during her first year. She recorded six goals and nine assists during UCLA’s regular season and was picked by the Washington Spirit in January 2020, reported Daily Bruin.

Sanchez represented the United States at the under-14, under-15, under-17, under-20, and under-23 levels throughout her international career and also served as the 2016 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup captain. She also competed in the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup and the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
