While working as an office worker, Oyabin, the handmade-art creator, has been creating innovative movies with a homemade vibe utilizing ordinary materials like cardboard boxes and duct tape. In an era of high-quality CG videos, he dares to produce analog videos that are distinctive and very creative.
He has competed in the 40-year-old "Kin-chan & Shingo Katori's Costume Grand Prix" 31 times. He has developed a wide range of works and has earned a record of eight championships, two second-place finishes, and thirteen prizes, for a total of 23 accolades, making him Japan's most honored artist.
His video works, particularly his masterwork "Ping-Pong," have piqued the interest of many artists and media outlets, and they have been used in a variety of music videos, events, and stage shows, broadening his reach beyond Japan and throughout the world.
