Who are Angelica and Roman? 'Celebrity IOU' Season 7 star Fran Drescher surprises her 'logical family' with kitchen makeover
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Angelica and Roman are Fran Drescher's long-time housekeepers who have been with the actress through thick and thin. Angelica and Ramon are Mexican immigrants who relocated to Los Angeles. The couple share three children together.
They have been working for Fran for the last three decades and have apparently become the actress' friends. In the upcoming episode's preview of 'Celebrity IOU' Season 7, Fran shared about Angelica and Roman, "There is your biological family and then there's your logical family, and I think that they're my logical family."
Now Fran wants to give them a lifetime gift with a home makeover to thank them for their love and support. Fran took 'Celebrity IOU' Season 7 duo Jonathan and Drew Scott to renovate her housekeepers' LA home, where they have been living since they moved to the city.
She hopes the remodel would bring life back into a home where so many memories live. Fran had just a month to renovate the couple's house as they were out of town visiting family in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Angelica and Roman stood by Fran Drescher's side amid her cancer diagnosis
Fran Drescher's housekeepers, Ramon and Angelica, have been there for her through the good and the bad times. The couple was there for Fran when she got divorced from her ex-husband, Peter Marc Jacobson.
In the preview of the upcoming episode, Fran revealed, "I went through a painful divorce, they were there for me. It wasn't an easy time. I’m sure I wasn't easy to be around."
The housekeepers also supported Fran when she was diagnosed with uterine cancer. Fran shared, "I'm a cancer survivor and they were there to help me through that from the first time I got diagnosed, they stood by me and supported me."
Fran's uterine cancer was fortunately caught at an early stage. It was slow growing and non-invasive. The actress soon had a radical hysterectomy surgery to remove her uterus and ovaries.

'Celebrity IOU' Season 7 celebrity Fran Drescher alongside hosts Jonathan and Drew Scott smashed down her housekeepers and friends Angelica and Roman's kitchen to give a stunning makeover.
They planned to brighten up the walls and install a new kitchen, including a dishwasher, something the family never had before. They also tackled a termite problem in the ceiling.
In the recently-released teaser of the HGTV show, Fran helped the Scott Brothers in tearing down the kitchen cabinets, and walls, pulled out the drawers and tossed them out of the room.
Fran seemed to be enjoying the renovation project and noted to the cameras, "I don't know if I was this much help, as they were hoping I would be..." adding, "but it was fun."
