Discovery+ has released a string of new content for the year and one of them is a series on murder investigations, 'Where Murder Lies'. The series is next in line to release after the recent 'Unseamly: The Investigation of Peter Nygard' that was received well by the audience. The timely release further piqued interest as the world was keen to know more about the Canadian fashion mogul who was arrested on charges of sex trafficking and sexual abuse. 'Where Murder Lies' is a relatively unknown commodity as there isn't much available about the series. Futoncritic provides some details including the timing of the docu— 3:01 am-4:00 am ET every Tuesday. So far, the docu-series that have been released have a minimum of four episodes, and it is possible this series can have the same number of chapters that explore different murder investigations.

Release date

'Where Murder Lies' releases Tuesday, February 16, 2021, on Discovery+.

Plot

According to The Streamable, the official logline reads: "Everyone is hiding something. It may be a harmless secret, or it might be something far more serious: a terrible betrayal of trust or a shocking indiscretion. Some of these come out over time, while others stay hidden forever."

"But sometimes, an event is so horrific, so cataclysmic, that everyone’s truths are laid bare. 'Where Murder Lies' gradually exposes murder investigations one truth after another, revealing the sinister underbelly beneath seemingly placid communities." We feel the series will focus on some of the lesser-known murder stories that will surely garner more interest as they're relatively unknown to the world.
