Where is Sara now? 'Dr Pimple Popper' removes home health nurse's two extra breasts and nipples in 'tear-jerking' session
UPLAND, CALIFORNIA: Sara has two additional breasts as well as nipples but she wants them removed in a new 'Dr Pimple Popper' episode, which will premiere on August 16 at 9/8c.
Dr Sandra Lee has healed a woman with maggots in her toes and a guy with 400 tumors all over his body this season.
Other people featured in this season include someone with a "third boob" on their shoulder, a crying grandfather with a "plum-sized nose," and a woman who had a bit of lead trapped in her hand for 45 years.
In 2023, she began the ninth season of her TLC program, and each surgery she does will change people's lives.
The TLC reality show follows cosmetic surgeon and dermatologist Dr Lee as he helps patients throughout America, and Sara was in need of assistance.
Who is Sara on 'Dr Pimple Popper' Season 9?
Sara had two bilateral accessory boobs. She didn't always have the mass, however, she did have the nipples.
The nipples had no sensations to them nor leaked during pregnancy. Just because of their deeper pigmentation, they appeared "a little more."
Sara saw the bulge as she grew older, and it became larger till she realized it was breast tissue. She said, "They are very playable, you can move them. I can tuck them in."
When Sara goes to the gym, the lumps make it difficult for Sara to do several exercises. She admitted to the TLC cameras that "sometimes they do get pinched. I work these areas out, but there's still this big, huge lump. Like it's in the way."
Sara felt out of place and embarrassed. "I don't feel like a normal person," she continues. The color of her nipples did alter a little throughout her pregnancy; it darkened as the rest of her body also did.
Sara did speak with two primary healthcare providers, but they advised her to get the lumps removed by a cosmetic surgeon. When Sara contacted a plastic surgeon, he responded that he could lipo them, but Sara was quite concerned about the hazards.
"I didn't know if it was fat, extra breast tissue, or even if there was some lymph nodes," she shared.
She is a home health nurse, and she is aware that our immune system includes the lymphatic system. Lymphedema, or swelling in your extremities, can result from injury to your lymph nodes. "So I chose not to do that," she admitted.
Sara mentioned how difficult it is for her to find clothing that fits her. She was constantly worried that they could pop out. What if someone sees them instead? Or what if someone has inquiries regarding it?
"The masses run my entire life. They run what I do. They run what I wear, and they run how I feel," she noted. She met Dr Lee because she was ready to stop hiding and start living.

What happened to Sara on 'Dr Pimple Popper' Season 9?
Sara enters at Dr Lee's clinic for an exam, and Dr Lee is initially perplexed by the bump. However, she chooses to make an incision in the skin to view what's beneath.
Dr Lee detects fatty tissue when she opens the skin, but she can't tell if it's normal fat or additional breast tissue just by looking. She cuts part of the fat with scissors before shaping it with a cautery machine, which utilizes heat.
Finally, Dr Lee says she'll send a tissue sample to a lab to be inspected under a microscope. The diagnosis is never revealed throughout the show.
