UPLAND, CALIFORNIA: A woman with keloid lumps on her earlobes has demonstrated how they resemble 'cauliflowers' dangling next to her face. Natasha is seeking the assistance of 'Dr Pimple Popper' after experiencing "major discomfort" as a result of the lumps on her ears.

Dr Sandra Lee, MD isn't frequently astounded by the scale of a patient's skin problem, but on the July 26 episode of her TLC show, the dermatologist got to work on some of the biggest keloids of her career. The TLC reality show follows cosmetic surgeon and dermatologist Dr Lee as she treats patients throughout America. She even cured a woman with maggots in her toes and a guy with 400 tumors all over his entire body this season. Other people featured in the episode include someone with a "third boob" on their shoulder, a crying grandfather with a "plum-sized nose," and a woman who had a bit of lead trapped in her hand for 45 years. Now, a woman, whose ears are ‘consumed’ by huge bumps that look like "mushrooms and cauliflowers" sought help from 'Dr Pimple Popper' in Wednesday's episode on July 26.

Who is Natasha on 'Dr Pimple Popper'?

Natasha's ears are covered with large keloids that cause her a lot of pain. Keloids are scars that continue to grow and become larger than the initial incision. They can be created by too much collagen in the skin following an accident or damage, such as a puncture or burn.

TLC's preview for the Wednesday episode showed the bumps developing below her earlobes and dangling off the sides. "I basically have bumps on both earlobes," she noted. "They’ve consumed it. The consistency of each growth is very squishy and movable, I can definitely move it around. Now they look like mushrooms or cauliflower."

What happened to Natasha on 'Dr Pimple Popper'?

Dr Lee returned to the big screen on Wednesday with a brand-new episode of her TV show, 'Dr Pimple Popper,' on TLC. If you like her Instagram videos but haven't watched the hour-long show, you're missing out on some insane pops. 'Dr Pimple Popper' appears to save her most dramatic makeovers for the program, and the July 25 episode is going to be a doozy. She saw two people with quite distinct skin problems. Natasha, for example, wants to be a model, but her large ear keloids prevent her from walking the catwalk.

She stated on the 'Dr Pimple Popper' episode that they are quite painful and that she has had them for years. They itch all the time, and she's worried they'll get worse.

Natasha is becoming self-conscious as a result of the keloids. When Natasha meets Dr Lee, she immediately recognizes them as keloids—an "overgrowth of scar tissue," as she explains. Keloids may arise after a variety of skin traumas, including cuts, burns, and, yes, piercings. They can develop slowly over time, which is precisely what Natasha experienced.

Dr Lee anticipated that removing Natasha's keloids would be difficult due to their attachment to a large chunk of Natasha's ears. The keloid surgery will be traumatic in and of itself, and Dr Lee is concerned that the growths may return—and even larger. She also realizes she may have to remove a portion of Natasha's actual ear. Nonetheless, Dr Lee proceeded with the procedure in the hopes of effectively (and permanently) removing Natasha's keloids.

It's time for surgery. Dr Lee injects the numbing chemical and begins cutting around the edge of the first keloid, and it's gone in what seems like an instant! Dr Lee says that she had to remove more of the normal ear than she had anticipated. Furthermore, Dr Lee discovers a promising finding in Natasha's other ear. She was concerned Natasha had one large keloid that ran completely through her ear, but she really has two discrete keloids, which means the excision will be less damaging to the contour of the ear. They're off!

Finally, Dr Lee conducts a skin graft on Natasha's left ear, where she removed more skin than she intended. A skin graft is the removal of healthy tissue from one place of the body and its use to repair another.

Where is Natasha from 'Dr Pimple Popper' now?

Dr Lee aks Natasha to return for radiation therapy to prevent the keloids from recurring. Natasha is terrified of the surgery, but in the end, she realizes it's unimportant. She doesn't feel anything. Natasha no longer suffers from headaches or vertigo a month later. She has minor scars from the procedure, but life is good. She can now wear headphones and doesn't feel the need to conceal herself. She's especially thrilled that she can dress up as any character and walk the runway without worrying about her keloids showing

TLC airs new episodes of 'Dr Pimple Popper' every Wednesday at 9 pm ET.
