Where is Jose Albarran Guerrero? Oregon dad's family worried over 'distorted' final call before he vanished
MEDFORD, OREGON: A distressed family is desperately searching for their father who disappeared after he agreed to meet a man that offered him a landscaping job. Oregon officials are looking for any sign of Jose Jesus Albarran Guerrero, 46, who went missing on November 14.
Jose Jesus Albarran Guerrero made a chilling final phone call to his wife before his voice distorted and the call dropped. After no news from the 46-year-old father, the terrified family filed a missing person report with Medford police 48 hours later. Jose Jesus Albarran Guerrero is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs around 175 pounds. He has hazel eyes and was last seen wearing a green Oregon Ducks sweater, a gray hat, blue jeans, and brown work boots, reported The Sun.

Guerrero's daughter Ariadna Albarran said she last saw him when he returned from Sherm's Thunderbird Market in Medford, Oregon, with milk to make hot chocolate for his nine grandchildren. Albarran told McClatchy News that her father was excited to return and announce that he got a job offer from a man that he met while shopping. The man told Guerrero to meet him before noon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the daughter told the outlet. "After that, nobody saw him," heartbroken Albarran said.
The family also added that Guerrero suffered a head injury while working around six months ago, raising additional concerns about his well-being. Guerrero also suffers from lapses in memory because of the blow, said the family, reported The Sun. Members of the family have searched throughout the city since Guerrero's disappearance and found nothing. His daughter Albarran said the family heard from him in a phone call at around 5 pm the same evening of his disappearance.
"Hey, where are you? Are you home?'" Guerrero's wife of more than 30 years asked. He responded, "I'm near Riverside," before his voice faded and the call disconnected. "I feel almost defeated, but I'm not giving up," said Albarran, who is the mother of three children. "I really just want to find answers." Distraught Guerrero's wife has taken the ill-fated situation to heart since his disappearance. "She's not eating. She's not sleeping," Albarran said. "I've never seen my mom this broken."
