Following The Atlantic's explosive story about President Donald Trump referring to the American troops killed in combat as 'losers' and 'suckers', everybody's eyes and ears are on John Kelly, including the President's. While the President is livid at the report, he is also unhappy about the fact that his former White House chief of staff hasn't spoken out about the story that reported President Trump had disparaged US troops.

According to the report, Trump made these comments while he was with Kelly during a 2018 trip to France. The President reportedly decided to skip visiting a cemetery for American soldiers killed in World War I because “it’s filled with losers,” and that Marines slain in combat at Belleau Wood were “suckers” for getting killed. The report also referenced to an incident in 2017, when Trump was visiting Arlington National Cemetery. During his visit to the Cemetery, Trump and Kelly briefly stopped at Kelly's son, Second Lt. Robert Kelly's grave. Robert Kelly, was a Marine, who was killed in Afghanistan in 2010, while he was just 29. Trump reportedly said ".“I don’t get it. What was in it for them?” while standing at Robert Kelly's grave.

After the report began going viral, John Kelly was bombarded with several requests for interviews and comments about Trump's alleged statement. But John Kelly chose to stay mum and maintain silence isn't sitting well with anybody. During a press conference on Friday, Trump expressed his unhappiness with Kelly's silence. He called Kelly "totally exhausted", and claimed that he "wasn't even able to function in the last number of months" while he was serving as chief of staff for Trump.

The internet too isn't pleased with Kelly's eery silence and are beginning to wonder where he is. A user tweeted, "Hey John Kelly, Where the hell ARE you???? Trump spit on your son's grave, and you said and did NOTHING?? Geez, you are a chicken bleep. Damn man, you SHOULD have punched him out! Instead, you now rival Ted Cruz for gutlessness. damn."

Another user wrote, "So where is John Kelly when the country needs him? He should have been the featured guest on MSNBC today. Did I see him? No."

"But where the heck is John Kelly, anyway? Isn't he still living on this planet? Why the silence, General Kelly? Speak out for America now; your word carries great weight, which is why you hesitate, I'm sure. The time is now, Sir, please...now," expressed a user.

"Man up John Kelly! Put your big boy pants on and show your face in public with the truth. Don't know what it is that @realDonaldTrump has on you people, but you all need to suck it up and think of Americans and not yourself!" suggested a user.

"This is reprehensible. I pity John Kelly for sacrificing his integrity to protect the #TraitorInChief over protecting the memory of the sacrifice that his son made. He has the opportunity to deny the Arlington incident. Where is he? Preparing a statement? Consulting a lawyer?" wondered a user.
