Olivia also had no desire to be close to Micah. Ethan finds himself in the middle of a family argument that involves the whole clan. This particularly applied to Moriah. Olivia and Moriah had a falling out.
Moriah may have forgotten her music was in Olivia's name, since she couldn't access her sister-in-law's account after they agreed to part ways.
She then threatened to sue Olivia in an unpleasant email if she didn't get her music back. Olivia gave the music back to her. She told Moriah they were finished for good. She leads Moriah to believe she has no debt to Ethan and to block him.

Not only that, but he inquires as to Kim's residence. She supposedly bought a flat, and the younger kids spend part of the week with her and the rest with their father.
As children, they all sang in church together. They'd put on live shows. Moriah was singing with her sister Lydia in her new home, while Ethan was playing with Micah at the family's home. The sisters were talking about their previous performances.
Moriah said that she had missed it and now she won't be able to have it again.
It was as though she had sparked a rift that would never heal. She thought that since she wanted something different, she had destroyed her family and she would never be able to have that family life again.
Moriah blames herself for her parents' separation. She was right when she said she started the split. She informed others that Olivia was reportedly holding her music captive. That was not the case.
She just forgot that Olivia owned everything, and Olivia gave it to her back when she asked for it. She had had enough of Ethan's foolishness. She also wanted to talk to him when he got back.
