What to expect on 'Survivor' Season 43 Episode 1?

According to host Jeff Probst, Season 43 will keep the players pondering every second of every day. Probst has stated, "Survivor is always about the people. It's the single biggest unknown of the game. Who are my competitors? Are they telling me the truth? Am I reading them correctly? Did I choose the right alliance partners? Am I on the right side of the vote or about to be blindsided?"

Since the premiere will be a two-hour special, fans can expect that two contestants will be eliminated by the end of the episode in the classic ‘Survivor' style. The series has also scrapped the controversial Hourglass and Do or Die twists this season. The show is adhering to strict Covid-19 safety guidelines for all cast and crew members, including host Jeff Probst.
