'Bull' Season 5 has hit the ground up and running on CBS. However, after a three-week run, the episode will be on break and will air Episode 4 titled 'The Ex-Factor' on December 14, 2020. While there is no official statement from CBS as to why there will be a delay in the episode, we reckon it might be on a scheduling plan as the series comprising of 16 episodes only this season will have to be spaced out accordingly. The following Monday (December 7) will instead see a rerun of 'Bull Season 4 Episode 11: 'Look Back In Anger'.

The synopsis of Episode 4 is released by the network. According to Rotten Tomatoes, the logline reads: "TAC braces for an un-jolly Christmas when Bull and Benny represent Marissa and her estranged husband, Greg, in federal court after they're charged with money laundering and fraud connected to Greg's restaurant. As Bull and Benny defend the divorcing couple together so the prosecution can't use them against each other, they search for jurors who will believe Marissa had no knowledge of Greg's business dealings."

This means the episode will revolve around Marissa (Geneva Carr) again and takes over from the storyline in Episode 3. In 'Prison Break' she finally gets working on the divorce with her husband, Greg, and potentially meets the new love of her life. But in what appears to be a twist of fate, she and Greg are put together again as they are accused of money laundering.

For those who missed Season 4's eleventh episode, it revolves around Marissa's friend, Stephen Raposa (Aaron Dean Eisenberg) suing a popular, famous philanthropic businessman, Peter Maybrook (Kevin Kilner) for abusing him as a child. Except, Stephen is looked at as a liar and the case seems to be a thorough goner after Maybrook's lawyer grills him on the stand terming the case as his ruse to make money from the businessman.

'Bull' Season 5 will be back on Monday, December 14, 2020, at 10 pm on CBS.
