DIXON, KENTUCKY: TLC just dropped the trailer of '1000-lb Sisters' Season 5. It was revealed that the new season will be dropping on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at 9/8c on TLC.

The new episodes will continue to be released every week. The new season is about to address the downfall of Amy Slaton's marriage with Michael Halterman.

In the trailer, we see Amy sobbing as she says, "I am very overwhelmed and stressed out and Michale ain't doing s**t." She then confessed, "Every aspect of my life is chaotic because I have no support."

Amy is then seen crying as her sister Amanda Halterman claims, "If you don't fix things that are wrong, it's not gonna end well for you."

In the trailer, Amy confessed to not getting any help from Michael in taking care of her children Gage and Glenn. She says while sobbing, "I'm just exhausted all the time because I'm trying to take care of two boys and take care of the house."

Amy said that she was at her "breaking point."

In the trailer, we also see Amy and Michael fighting after he takes her money. Amanda comes in between them and tells Michael, "Give her her money."

To which, Michael lashes out and says, "I ain't giving her s**t."

It is revealed that Michael has taken away Amy's debit card and is not returning it to her. After being frustrated with her then-husband's behavior, Amy asks him to get out of her house.

Will Tammy Slaton call 911 amid Michael Halterman and Amanda Halterman's feud?

As Amanda stands by Amy by asking Michael to return her sister's money, Michael tells her, "You get out of my house."

Amanda, who seems furious with Michael, tells him, "Make me." As the verbal feud turns aggressive, Tammy is seen calling someone, apparently 911.

Tammy says, "I didn't know coming home, the world was gonna fall apart." Later in the clip, Amy is seen sitting on the floor as she cries her heart out.

What will '1000-lb Sisters' Season 5 be about?

Both Amy and Tammy's relationship did not work in real life. The new season is expected to showcase the downfall of one's marriage and another's relationship.

Tammy will be seen returning from rehab after successfully losing the needed weight. However, Caleb Willingham was not permitted to go home. He is then seen gaining even more weight after Tammy left the rehab.

Moreover, fans will see Slaton sisters Amanda and Misty going to Dr Smith to get approval for weight loss surgery. Chris Combs says, "If Amanda and Misty get approved the whole family will have had weight loss surgery."

TLC says about the new season, "On a brand new season of #1000lbSisters, Tammy finally gets to move home, but is met with unexpected family drama."
