At the beginning of 'When I Was the Most Beautiful' Episode 15, Hwan (Ji Soo) decides to cut off ties not only with his brother but also his family as well. One by one, he decides to finalize the things that he had left hanging for too long. He confesses to Jin (Ha Seok-jin) that he did love Ye-ji (Lim Soo-hyang), and continues to do the same, however, he would have dealt with his feelings over time. However, the fact that Jin had no trust in his brother pushes Hwan to reconsider their entire relationship. That very night, he books his ticket to return to the US.

However, Hwan doesn't tell the other members of the family, and only informs Ye-ji about it. She tries to dissuade him if incase his decision was influenced because of her. For once, Hwan says that this is a decision that he took for his well-being and doesn't involve her at all. He is deeply hurt by his family and all of that is surfacing now. The feelings that Ye-ji had buried all this while regarding Hwan surfaces when Jin invited Hwan and Ye-ji over to have a drink. The two accept and at this time Jin asks his brother out of curiosity why he likes Ye-ji. Hwan ends up explaining how beautiful it felt to have someone accept him, feel gratitude towards him, and even understand his pain when no one around him has done. Jin asks if things might have changed between the three of them had a different choice been made, but Ye-ji tells him that she had loved Jin before when she had made her choice and now after she had been betrayed, it's too late to reconcile.

In the end, Jin ends up asking her for just a year's time to do everything that he had wanted to do for her but was not able to. This too she refuses because she believes that she has enough memories to define and describe their relationship. While Ye-ji has made her decision, so has Carrie who was lastly abandoned by Chairman Bang. She decides to support him during the board meeting and also gets ready to be punished just for the crime that she had committed. With this, Jin manages to avoid the fate that awaited the company and also managed to get Chairman Bang arrested.

At the end of the episode, Ye-ji goes out for dinner with Hwan, as this is something she had promised to do for him before she divorced his brother. For the first time in a long time, the two of them sit down for dinner and one last time, Hwan asks her. Can it not be him? Can it never be him? This time, Ye-ji begs him to stop because she can't help but recall everything that Hwan had done for her over the years. After she returns though, she is faced with Jin who continues to badger her with questions about Hwan. She is pressurized and finally confesses that she loves him. She loves Hwan, for how he had helped her from the beginning, been considerate of her feelings, and had been her strength during the toughest of times. Hwan overhears all of this but leaves before he hears Ye-ji say that Jin must stop holding on to her and instead hold on to Hwan.

Are they really ready to move on from each other? We don't believe Hwan is, because the next morning when he sees Ye-ji, he asks her "Did you love me? Do you love me?" What will her answer be?

'When I was Most Beautiful' will air on MBC on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9.30 pm KST. It will be available on Viu outside South Korea.
