Season 2 of ‘What We Do in the Shadows’ is finally coming to an end and the season finale of the vampire mockumentary may finally address its most pertinent plot point.

Season 2 Episode 10, titled, ‘Théâtre Des Vampires’, per IMDb, will see the coven -- Colin (Mark Proksch), Nandor (Kayvan Novak), Nadja (Natasia Demetriou), and Laszlo (Matt Berry) -- prepare to attend an exclusive event on the vampire social calendar. Here’s the kicker though: the vampires try to survive without Guillermo (Harvey Guillén).

Guillermo has long been dissatisfied with his position in the household. He’s mistreated by all (Nandor has begun mistreating him a little less). In the last couple of episodes of season 2, we’ve seen this dissatisfaction build up to a boiling point.

In episode 8, Guillermo actually left the household because Nandor was being iffy on his promise to turn him into a vampire. Nandor finally won him back with promises of better work culture and more breaks. It’s a promise he kept, but Nadja had a problem with it.

And despite Nandor trying, it became abundantly evident that something had changed in the dynamics altogether. Guillermo began wondering if being a "familiar" to vampires was a good career choice. He also began looking into his entrepreneurial side to find a way to escape this life of servitude. He even made a deal with a coven of witches to make some money on the side.

But even as the episode ended, a conversation between Guillermo and the witches’ black goat made for an ominous pronouncement. The goat wondered when the witches would turn him into one, making Guillermo question Nandor’s promise once again.

So, does that mean Guillermo plans to leave them again? Or Does he simply plan to work unless the promise is met? One thing is for sure, the fact that Guillermo is a natural vampire slayer (that has been addressed a few times this season) will come into play. It has to. Nandor suspected it for a while but has not brought it up since. Before the second season ends, this confrontation is absolutely necessary. Because without that on his side, what other leverage does Guillermo have?

Another thing that viewers can be sure of is that this episode will see a few cameos. For one, it's the finale. For another, it's about a special vampire event. Let's keep our fingers crossed for some of the more exciting cameos from season 1, shall we?

New episodes of ‘What We Do in the Shadows’ Season 2 air on FX every Wednesday at 10 pm ET/PT.
