What to expect from 'Dark Matter' Episode 9? With so many loose ends the finale better be on its game

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: The moment has finally arrived for Jason Dessen's multiverse adventures to conclude in 'Dark Matter' Episode 9.
After seven weeks since its grand premiere, the Apple TV+ series is wrapping up on June 26, 2024. The finale will bring an end to Jason's battle against his alternate versions.
Apple TV+ maintains suspense for 'Dark Matter' finale episode
'Dark Matter' is a sci-fi thriller show that has hooked the fans with its nail-biting drama and mind-bending twists. Yet, fans have been so far able to decode what to expect next with Apple TV+ dropping a hint in its synopsis.
However, this time, the streaming giant has refrained from giving away any hint of what might happen in the finale.
"The Dessens' world comes crashing down” is all what Apple TV+ says in its synopsis for Episode 9.
At this moment, all we know is that Jason 1 (Joel Edgerton) will have to fight not only Jason 2 but all other versions to be with Daniela (Jennifer Connelly) and Charlie (Oakes Fegley).
It is also going to be challenging for Daniela to choose from the varied versions of her husband with similar traits.
Supporting characters deserve closure in 'Dark Matter' Episode 9
In the eight episodes released so far, it isn't just Jason's journey that has kept us hooked to the show. The storyline of Amanda Lucas (Alice Braga), Ryan Holder (Jimmi Simpson) and Leighton Vance (Dayo Okeniyi) have been equally intriguing.
Two versions of Ryan Holder are trapped in wrong realities and the fate of each of them hasn't been explored yet. Even Leighton 2, who was last seen in Episode 4, hasn't resurfaced or mentioned in the narrative again.
We, as fans, deserve to know the fate of these two characters trapped in multiverse.
Moreover, since Amanda Lucas has been such an important character in the show, we wish to see more of her and would like to know if the reality she had chosen actually worked out for her or if she used the ampoules given by Jason 1.
There are many loose ends that are needed to be tied up in the remaining one episode unless Blake Crouch and Apple TV+ are planning to address them in another season, if any.
With the renewal status unknown at this point, we expect some of the mysteries to be answered in the finale episode.

Eight episodes of the sci-fi show are currently available to stream on Apple TV+ while the finale episode is set to stream on June 26, 2024.
