Phoozy on 'Shark Tank': What is the cost, who are the founders, and does this phone case really protect your device from everything?
Our mobile phones have literally become an extension of ourselves. We use them for keeping in touch with our loved ones, capturing some beautiful memories, etc. So it shouldn't come as a surprise that we all like to have our phone on us no matter where we are.
Unfortunately for people who enjoy outdoor activities, carrying their phones with them on their adventures might not necessarily be the smartest move. For one, you could accidentally end up dropping your beloved handset and end up cracking the screen or worse lose it. For others who enjoy outdoor activities like skiing or surfing, the extreme temperature migh mean that your phone switches off or stops working. In these instance, despite having your phone with you, they aren't really useul. Two outdoor activities enthusiasts were frustrated with their own experiences, so they came up with a perfect solution- make a phone case that can protect the handset from literally everything. This is how Kevin Conway and Josh Inglis ended up creating Phoozy, a phone case that they claim will protect your phone from every imaginable thing. Here's all you need to know about these Phoozy cases befor you watch them on 'Shark Tank'.

What is Phoozy?
Phoozy is a one-of-a-kind phonecase that will not only provide thermal protection to your mobile from extreme temperatures but also keep it safe from drowning, by helping the device to float when dropped into water bodies. The device boasts of a layered matrix of proprietary material that have been adapted from spacesuits, space shuttles, and race cars, to protect the device from extreme heat and cold, while providing float protection, thanks to the military grade drop protection, which will ensure that your phone doesnt ever get a scratch or a dent no matter how you use it.
"Adapted from spacesuit technology designed to protect astronauts from the extreme temperatures of space, the Thermal Capsule keeps your Smartphones, iPads and Tablets from getting too hot in the sun while prolonging battery life in extreme heat and cold - from the beach, the pool, the boat, to the mountaintop. It also offers the added peace of mind of integrated drop protection and buoyancy - meaning this capsule floats, keeping the phone at the surface of the water," explains the brand's website.
Who are the founders?
Kevin Conway and Josh Inglis are the brains behind Phoozy Thermal protection phone cases. Prior to setting up Phoozy, Kevin was a professional race car driver, who competed in many prestigious races across the world. While he was racing or indulging in his passion of surfing and snowboarding, Kevin always faced the issue of his phone overheating and the battery draining faster than usual. This prompted him to come up with Phoozy.
After developing some initial prototypes according to the brand's website, Kevin reached out to his friend Josh to help him with setting up Phoozy. Josh- a MBA holder from an Ivy League, and a digital marketing expert who worked at Home Depot, agreed to help his friend in rolling out Phoozy to the world. "The PHOOZY was born out of my frustration of having my phone overheat and shut down when I was outside on a hot summer day or freeze when I was snowboarding. Having your phone overheat and shut down or sink to the bottom of a lake or river is a sure way to ruin a great adventure," explains Kevin on the website. "As a company, we understand what it means to live a life of epic outdoor adventures without having to worry about your technology shutting down or worse. We are very excited to be the first in the industry to provide thermal, drop and float protection for mobile deFoovices," he added.
What is the cost and where to buy the phonecase from?

Who will steal the deal?
Daymond John might most likely close the deal. Although the brand's sales numbers and profit margins will ultimately be the major deciding factor for the sharks on whether to invest in the business or not. So, we will just have to wait and watch to see if the Sharks even make a deal.
