'War Sailor' on Netflix: Release date and where to watch
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'War Sailor' is a historical drama directed by Gunnar Vikene which takes its inspiration from the true conditions of Norwegian sailors during and post-WWII. The critically acclaimed film became the biggest theatrical hit of 2022 in Norway. Starring Kristoffer Joner (known for 'Mission Impossible: Fallout'), Pal Sverre Hagen, and Ine Marie Wilmann, 'War Sailor' was selected for exhibition at the renowned Toronto International Film Festival in August 2022 as well.
Netflix announced in February 2022 that 'War Sailor' will be out as a limited series on its platform. With the 2022 film having a run-time of 150 minutes, the limited series will consist of 3 episodes and include sequences that were not seen in the film release.
