What is skull breaker challenge on TikTok? How dangerous can it be?
TikTok trends leave no chance to grab the eyeballs and the attention of authorities, people, and parents. After the penny challenge and flashlight in the eye trend, TikTok users have again come up with such a challenge that has the potential to cause serious harm, specifically head injuries. This time, even the name of the challenge carries a note of caution, it’s called the ‘skullbreaker’ challenge.
The challenge derives its name from the Spanish word Rompcráneos, or 'Skullbreaker' in English. Like with most social media trends, it is unknown who first came up with this challenge.

What is the skull-breaker challenge all about?
The dangerous challenge that is currently trending on the popular video-sharing app TikTok involves three people in the act. First, two people on either side of the third one will jump in the air, and once they land, the person in between the two will do the same.
However, when the third person jumps in the air, just then, the other two are going to kick him on his legs, or shins, while he is in mid-air, making the jumper fall on the ground. A user on Twitter shared a video, "Dear Parent...#skullbreaker #tiktok"

The last jumper may occasionally die due to this odd challenge, which can also cause significant head and back injuries. The third-person jumping is frequently oblivious to the kick, which is when things get serious, and the jumper is caught off guard, much like in a practical joke. Skull-breaker challenge is picking up quickly as more and more teenagers and young adults are indulging in performing the act without any safety precautions causing worry among parents. One of the first videos was shot in a school in Venezuela and later spread across the globe. A Twitter user wrote, "The skullbreaker challenge? They need to ban tiktok."
