You will not find a combination like this pretty often. So when Showtime Sports Documentary Films announced the launch of 'Catching Lightning', fans were intrigued as to what might be shown in the four-part docuseries. From Anderson Silva to Chuck Liddel, numerous well known personalities will be seen on the show.
In 2006, Lee and his team executed a bank robbery in Great Britain that amounted to $92M at the time. Directed by two-time Emmy winner Pat Kondelis, 'Catching Lightning' comprises intriguing revelations, gripping interviews and a lot of "firsts" as we delve into the life of the infamous martial artiste and his troubles with law enforcement. The docuseries will be available on April 7 on Showtime.

What is the plot of 'Catching Lightning'?
The four-part docuseries 'Catching Lightning' is about the life of the South London UFC fighter Lee Murray. In 2006, Murray and his crew successfully robbed the Securitas Depot of Great Britain and an amount of $92M was stolen. The official synopsis reads, "The story of MMA fighter, 'Lightning' Lee Murray, who brawled his way from the mean streets of South London all the way to the UFC - and then took part one of the largest bank heists of all-time."
