LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Aaron Phypers, the husband of the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' actress Denise Richards, has allegedly refused to settle a six-figure business debt, and now his lender has dragged him into court, according to RadarOnline.com. A debt collection agency, Creditors Adjustment Bureau, has reportedly sought $252,151 from Phypers and his Los Angeles-based frequency medicine healing center, Quantum Epigenetics Consulting, in court documents obtained by the site.

Creditors Adjustment reportedly sued 50-year-old Phypers last year on the grounds that he had defaulted on a $190,000 loan. According to the business, Richards' husband applied for the loan in November 2019 and agreed to pay an interest of $11,000. According to the group, 'The Leap' actor missed the loan payment. The business then sought payment of the total outstanding sum.

Creditors Adjustment Bureau has sought a Los Angeles Superior Court judge to award it $252,151 from Phypers and his Los Angeles-based frequency medicine therapy center. Phypers refuted each and every accusation of wrongdoing and demanded that the case be dismissed. He added that the Creditors Adjustment Bureau "unreasonably delayed in bringing this action against [Phypers] and that such delay substantially prejudiced [Phypers]."

Additionally, Phypers claimed that the pandemic prevented him from making payments, which significantly slowed down his operation. He said, "Those events could neither be anticipated nor controlled, and the effects were beyond the control of the parties and imposed an extreme hardship, expense, or difficulty rendering performance impossible." He requested more time to repay the loan from the court. Phypers requested that he not be compelled to pay the loan until "business resumes to pre-pandemic status, which would enable [Phypers] to satisfy any lawful obligation." The lender, according to Richards' husband, "understood that the source of repayment would be earnings from the operation of the Quantum Epigenetics Consulting, LLC business."

What did the lender say?

The trial date has been set for January 8, 2024. Creditors Adjustment Bureau, however, said in recently submitted court filings that there is no need for a trial because the evidence is unmistakably obvious. The business said Phypers should not be given an extension to repay the loan because the provisions were clear and there was no ambiguity in them. The reality star must pay the unpaid sum of $186k plus interest of $66k for a total of $252k in damages, according to Creditors Adjustment Bureau.
